Episode 1 - 'Where No Birds Sing'

This episode laid the foundations for the continued thread that ran throughout Moon & Son, namely the relationship between Trevor and his mother Gladys.  Trevor tied to the business, 'Visions Incorporated' by his father's will is forced to live and work with his mother.  The business consists of Gladys's Fortune Telling and a sideline in astral merchandise which they sell in markets both in the UK (Kent) and France.  However somehow Gladys and/or Trevor always manage to be in the wrong place at the right time and get involved in mysteries, often being able to help the police solve the crimes.

'Where No Birds Sing' focused on an Iron Age Fort and Roman Settlement where artefacts were found relating to an old local story.

Cecile sets out to cycle to St Omer to meet Trevor.  On the way she hears screams from the wood, getting off her bike she goes to investigate.  It's a trap and a man lies in wait, he chases her but she escapes him by hiding in the canal. 

The police inform Cecile and Trevor that it may have been the work of a man who has killed before.  It soon becomes clear that he knows where to find Cecile and hasn't given up on catching her. 

Trevor sets about finding the killer by using Astro Calcualtions but it is a session with Gladys that helps Cecile remember that the man had half a finger missing on one hand that leads to his capture.

Episode 3 - 'Nearly Dearly Departed'

Once a week Gladys's visits a home to give readings to the residents.  She learns about a 20 year old murder from one of the elderly residents.

Determined as ever to solve the mystery she puts herself in danger and when an eminent psychologist is found to be involved Gladys's finds herself victim of an attempted murder.  The gunman assumes that he has killed Gladys's and so to lure him out the police stage her funeral.
